Tiffany Tapio Taulbee, age 39, of Hazard, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center. Her passing has left a deep void in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Tiffany was a woman whose life was rooted in love, faith, and family. She found great joy in the simple yet meaningful moments of life—spending time with her children, caring for her beloved pets, and attending church. Her faith was an important part of who she was, guiding her through life and shaping the kindness and compassion she extended to others.
Above all, Tiffany cherished her family. She was a devoted wife to her husband, James Taulbee, and a loving mother to her five children: Connor, Ryan, Wyatt, Haley, and Skylar. Her children were the center of her world, and she poured her heart into raising them with love, strength, and unwavering support. The memories they shared together will forever remain a source of comfort and strength.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin Tapio and Loretta King Tapio Salyers, whose love and guidance helped shape the person she became. Tiffany is survived by her stepfather, Billy Ray Salyers; her sister, Rose Smith (Brian); and her brothers, Joe Tapio (Lacy), Travis Smith, and Josh Tapio (Chelsea). She also leaves behind her sister-in-law, Katherine Bush (Elvis), along with two nephews, Connor and Ryder, and seven nieces: Rayvin, Alyssa, Evelyn, Angelina, Donielle, Mackenzie, and Kaelyn, all of whom will carry her memory in their hearts.
Tiffany will be remembered for her warm spirit, her caring nature, and the love she gave so freely. She had a way of making those around her feel valued and appreciated, leaving lasting impressions on everyone she met.
Family and friends will gather to honor Tiffany’s life at Maggard’s Mountain View Chapel. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Friday, June 5, 2026, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM officiated by Ruth Jackson and Donald Tapio. She will be laid to rest at Salyers Family Cemetery in Hazard, Kentucky.
Though her time here was far too short, Tiffany’s legacy of love, faith, and devotion will live on through her family and all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
